Imagica was first established 80 years ago in Japan as film processing laboratory, today, Imagica is one of the world’s leading full-fledge digital post-production companies with multiple offices and facilities throughout Japan.

In 2014, Imagica established its first overseas base in Iskandar Malaysia, Imagica South East Asia ("Imagica SEA"). Offering the local and international productions its high quality post-production services, including digital distribution,and archiving and restoration services, Imagica is proud to be part of IMCITDP. 
Some of Imagica’s notable achievements in previous years include:
2015 Won Best Restoration Award at the DEG Japan Award 7th Blu-ray Prize for digital restoration of the four feature films by the renowned film director Yasujiro Ozu.
2014 Won Minister of Economy,Trade and Industry Award at the 18th Japan Post Production Association Awards for post producing of  the theatrical animated film  "Golden Time".
2013 Started comprehensive services for 4K contents for the first time in Japan.
2012 Digitally re-mastered a Japanese movie "The Ballad of Narayama" which was screened world premiere at Festival de Cannes 2012
2012 Provided AR/VR service for "Starhub TVB Awards 2012" in Marina Bay Sands, produced by Hong Kong broadcasting company Television Broadcasts Limited.
2011 Digitally re-mastered world masterpieces "Gate of Hell" and "Tokyo Story".
2011 Provided technical supports for the production of "Harakiri : Death of A Samurai" which won the PAIFF and Dolby Excellence in 3D Award at Palo Alto International Film Festival.
